Maternity Portrait Photo Shoot with Mercedes Continued
The elegance of the classic black and white portrait is timeless. Using a silhouette lighting set up adds to the dramatic effect and showcases the glow and beauty of the expectant mother. By far, my favorite way to capture a maternity portrait.
Nude Silhouette
In modern society maternity portraiture is the one time that nudity is universally appreciated for it’s beauty. However, in spite how it looks, Mercedes is actually not nude in any of these images. With well planned angles, poses and props we were able to create the illusion while protecting her modesty.
Dramatic & Elegant
With out a doubt this is my most favorite shoot of the year. It was such an honor to get this opportunity to create these gorgeous images. Knowing that these will be appreciated for years, if not generations, to come makes my job so rewarding.
